The Best Thailand Privilege Membership for Families

I’m Talisa, the Immigration Service Manager here to assist you in choosing the right Thailand Privilege package for you and your family. Sometimes you’d probably want to bring along some company to enjoy time with while in Thailand. It’s natural for people to want to share their experiences in the Land of Smiles with their spouse, children or other family members.

Two of the Thailand Privilege membership packages will allow you to include family members.

  • The first is the 10-year PLATINUM Membership, in which the main applicant pays 1.5 million THB and any additional family members can shell out 1 million THB for it, letting them save 500,000 THB. All parties will also earn 35 privilege points.
  • The second is the 15-year DIAMOND Membership, where you pay 2.5 million THB to be a primary member and your family members can each pay 1.5 million THB to join, saving 1 million THB in the process. It also nets you 55 privilege points.

The 5-year GOLD Membership is an option, however it only lets you stay for 5 years and family members will still have to pay the same amount of 900,000 THB fee that you need to pay, meaning they don’t gain any additional advantages from it.

Out of all the options, we recommend the 10-year PLATINUM package as a cut above the rest. The 1.5 million THB price tag and 1 million THB for additional family members demonstrates its affordability. 10 years also grants members enough time to enjoy Thailand to its fullest and the privileges you can get are very similar across the board.

And with the privilege point system being a major draw of the program, the privileges you and your family can leverage can enhance your experience and transform it into an unforgettable venture. Maybe you’d like to enjoy cruises across some of the most iconic rivers in Bangkok? With privilege points, you can spend these on renting yachts and boats so you and your family can partake in boat rides together.

Maybe you have a child who wants to see a concert? You can spend points to earn free tickets to major concerts as well as other seasonal and entertainment events. You can also acquire discounts on family outings such as at leading restaurant chains or via buy-1-get-1 free movie tickets. It also lets you save money on booking hotel rooms for you and your family such as with either the buy-1-get-1-free hotel night perk or the buy-2-get-1-free hotel nights privilege.

Enjoying time with your family plays an important role in anyone’s immigration journey and having a Thai Privilege membership helps with this tremendously.

Applying is simple. First you will need to apply for either the PLATINUM or DIAMOND Membership as the primary member. When you’re submitting your required documentation, you will also need to submit supplementary documents from your family members. This will include application form, PDPA form, passport photocopy, and passport-sized photo of yourself as well as documents to prove your relationship to them as a family member, such as marriage certificates or birth certificates.
