Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership

Thailand Privilege Diamond Membership

With the 20-years membership only available via invitation, the 15-year Diamond Membership offers the highest validity period. Many expats and retirees will find this option very enticing given that it allows them to stay in Thailand the longest out of all the available membership choices.

This is priced at 2.5 million THB, but rewards you with three 5-year renewable, multi-entry visas and the highest number of privilege points. With 55 points a year, the amount of privileges you can redeem these points for are tremendous. Whether you’d like early bird tickets at concerts, chances to attend networking events, or even free domestic flights, the world’s your oyster. Alongside this, members also are awarded with some wonderful core benefits such as access to premium lanes for immigration fast-tracking, your very own Personal Elite Assistant, annual health checks, wealth advisory sessions, and free movie tickets.

But how to start, you must be wondering. Only 4 items are needed for the application: an application form, PDPA form, photocopy of your passport, and a passport-sized photo of yourself (in colour).

Once everything’s in, you’ll be assessed via a background check. If successful, you will receive your approval letter and invoice and have 30 days to pay. Once the payment is made, give it around 5 to 10 working days for Thailand Privilege Card to issue you your welcome letter and membership ID. You now have the power in your hands and can finally affix this new visa to your passport.

Affixations can be done either at the Thai international airports (if abroad), a Thai embassy (if abroad), or the Thai Immigration Office on Chaeng Wattana Road in Bangkok (if in Thailand).

If you’re wondering about how long it takes for you to be an official member of Thailand Privilege, the company has shared that processing times should be a lot shorter this time around. Typically with the previous membership, the turnaround time was between 1 month to 3 months, with 4 to 6 weeks for a background check. Thailand Privilege Card Company Limited however has listed that processing times should be shorter this time around. Fortunately, payment is not required until you have been approved during the background check.
