90-Day Non-Immigrant Visa
The 90-Day Non-Immigrant Visa is issued to foreigners who wish to enter Thailand for studying, business, investment, retirement, and other purposes. This type of visa is valid for 90 days from the date of issuance and can be extended for an extra 7 days.
Furthermore, this type of visa grants the holder the option to convert to a 1-Year Non-Immigrant Visa (i.e. work visa, marriage visa, retirement visa, etc) which can be processed and obtained while in Thailand.
The 90-day Non-Immigrant Visa is not the same as the Thailand Tourist Visa. If you wish to apply for a tourist visa to Thailand, you’ll have to contact the Thai Embassy or consulate in your country. Learn more about the Thailand Tourist Visa here.
