What should I do once I receive my membership ID and approval letter?

355 views 0 November 14, 2023 siamlegalthailand

Applicants will receive their approval letter and membership ID after payment for their desired Thailand Privilege Visa package is complete. Both items will be sent directly to the applicant via email within 5 to 10 working days after paying their fee.

What to do once you have received your approval letter and membership ID?

Once you have received these two items:

  • The start date of your Thailand Privilege membership will commence.
  • You will be able to apply for an (optional) Thailand Privilege Card.
  • You will be able to affix your new Thai Privilege Visa to your passport/travel documents.

How to affix your Thai Privilege Visa to your passport?

Thai Privilege Visas are stamped to your passport by immigration officers. They can be affixed at the following locations:

  • Royal Thai Consulate (if abroad).
  • Thai International Airport in Bangkok or Phuket (if abroad).
  • The Thai Immigration Office on Chaengwattana Road (if in Bangkok).

How to apply for your Thai Privilege Card?

Members of Thailand Privilege who have purchased any of the available membership options are eligible to obtain an exclusive Thailand Privilege Card. This card can be used at Thailand Privilege partnered restaurants, department stores, Duty-Free retailers, golf courses, and spas for special discounts and other complimentary benefits.

Here are the steps to applying for one:

  1. First, wait until your membership ID and welcome letter have been delivered to you.
  2. Contact the 24/7 member services centre and request for the Thailand Privilege Card (contact details can also be found on the back of the letter).
  3. Choose whether you want to acquire the card via mail or at either the airport (if flying in) or Thai Immigration office on Chaengwattana Road (if in Bangkok).
  4. Wait 2 months until you receive details that your card has been issued.
  5. Acquire the card either at your address, airport, or immigration office.

It usually takes the Thailand Privilege Card a total of 2 months for it to be issued to applicants. If the applicant provides enough time in advance, they can technically apply for the Thailand Privilege Card and get it issued on the same day they affix their Thai Privilege Visa sticker to their passport.

To use the Thailand Privilege Card, simply present it to the front counter of any Thailand Privilege Partnered establishment. You will then be able to reap those rewards.
