As a tourist visa, Thai Privilege Visa holders are not permitted to work for any company based and located in Thailand. You will need to apply for a separate visa and a work permit in order to get employed in the Land of Smiles. 

However, you can work in Thailand for a company based overseas, and this is very convenient especially for digital nomads and remote workers. There are no rules against earning income from businesses located in an overseas territory. 

One of the many benefits of the new Thai Privilege Visa is that members can redeem points to use co-working spaces. For example, a DIAMOND holder can use a co-working space 4 times a year without redeeming any points. This provides members flexibility when it comes to performing their work duties while in Thailand.
