UK Visitor Visa

 

 

Thailand is one of the countries whose citizens are required to have a visa when entering the UK.   • Prepare the required documents.

    Both original and photocopies of each document must be submitted. Supporting documents must include its English translations. The basic requirements for a UK Visitor Visa in Thailand include the following:

 

    • Completed VAF 1

    • Current valid passport (showing current Thai immigration status)

    • 1 recent passport-sized color picture

    • Birth certificate

    • Marriage, death or divorce certificate (if applicable)

    • Thai identity card

    • All previous passports

    • All the supporting documents specific to the category one is applying for

    • Evidence of financial adequacy (for applicants paying for their trip)

    • Proof of payment of visa application fee


  • Pay the visa application fee.

    A 'cashiers cheque' or 'bank draft' from any bank made payable to "The British Embassy Bangkok" will be accepted. Bring the cashier's check or bank draft when submitting the application.

 

  • Go personally to the Visa application Center

    Located at Regent House, 2nd Floor, 183 Rajdamri Road, Lumpini Bangkok 10330, to submit the application and have the biometric information collected.

 

  • Wait for the decision on the UK Visitor Visa application.

    Tracking the status of the application can be made either by using the "Track Your Application" feature on the VFS website or by availing of the paid SMS text alert service.

 

  • Attend the interview if requested by the visa staff.

 

  • Collect the visa (if approved) and the documents personally at the Visa Application Center.
